Film Society

Our film society convenes monthly to engage in a book club-style discussion of selected cinematic masterpieces.

 

For 2026 we will again be viewing two films each month. The first will be the Best Film Oscar Winner at 10-year intervals starting in 1937. The second will be selections from the New York Times 100 Best Films of the 21st Century. The film list is available here for your reference

 

 

Our meetings are normally held on the first Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. at the Black Bear Diner in Danville. Contact Jim Suffoletta for the exact date of our next meeting.
