HISTORICAL DANVILLE WALKING TOURS - 9/22 & 9/23
Each tour begins on Front Street where the town began. Participants learn the identity and deeds of the founding families, how Danville was named, location and news of the first schools and postal services, and visit the designated historic buildings along Front, Hartz and Prospect Avenues, many of which have a unique story. Wonderful old photographs of Danville will be shared. The tour takes about an hour and a half.
Your cost is $10 per person—all monies collected go to the Museum of the San Ramon Valley association. Bring exact change on the day of your tour and a SIR representative will collect all attendee's monies.
We've scheduled an early start time of 9:30 am in case the weather gets a bit toasty.
Thanks and if you have questions, please reach out to Robert Caviglia at firstname.lastname@example.org
ALSO---we'll look for a local restaurant for those Sirs/guests who'd like to gather afterwards.

SF CHINA TOWN TOUR - 10/27 & 10/28
One of the most interesting and historic places in San Francisco is Chinatown. On Wednesday, October 27th at 10:30am we will be offering a private 1 1/2 hour tour of Chinatown led by a City Guide Docent.
San Francisco Chinatown rose from the ashes of the 1906 earth-quake to evolve into a Chinese community holding fast to its traditions amid a rapidly changing cityscape. Discover the local alleys where this community has continued to flourish for over 150 years. Temples, dim sum, herbal apothecaries and jade jewel-ry shops all contribute to the vibrancy of this place, one of the oldest Chinese communities outside of China.
