Member Assistance Program

 
What is this program about?
 
Simply stated, this program is about keeping SIR128 members with medical/mobility challenges or other issues that may limit their direct participation in branch activities & events better informed and connected to our branch. 
 
Our initial focus will be...
 
Member Engagement:
  • Scheduled In-person visits to share branch news and updates; Rooster newsletter, luncheon slides PDF, etc.
  • Scheduled phone calls to check-in with members and keep them updated on branch news and information
  • Newsletter postal option
Transportation Assistance:
  • Provide rides for members to attend luncheons, outings, activity sessions, or other SIR128 sponsored events
Administrative Assistance:
  • Provide for spouse/partner/relative access as appropriate
  • Support phone event/activity registrations
  • In-person and/or phone support for website access questions
  • Maintain a referral list of outside agencies/organizations that members might find useful for non-SIR related matters
