Phil Reed
Boundary Oak 2/12/2019 #2 107 yards Titleist 7 Iron
Phil bagged a hole in one with the Tuesday Golf Group outing to Boundary Oak GC! The conditions were cold and soggy but Phil masterfully holed his shot with a Titleist Pro V1 rescue ball sporting some very masculine markings. Phil treated all present to a celebratory round of cheer in honor of his accomplishment! Congrats Phil!

Poppy Ridge 6/21/2018
172 yards Calloway Chrome Soft 19 degree hybrid Playing with John Noll, Ron Knibbs, and Larry Feigenbaum as part of the Thursday 18-hole group, Paul teed off from the white tees on the third hole (Chardonnay). He did not see the ball go in the hole. He got to the green but couldn’t find his ball until he checked the hole and found it there!  It was his first hole in one! Poppy Ridge was nice enough to give Paul a flag that reads "Poppy Ridge Hole in One" and he has placed the ball in his trophy case.

Diablo Hills 2/22/2018 3 112 yards Titleist   Former Big Sir Ernie Fierro aced the 112 yard 3rd Hole at Diablo Hills Golf Course. Ernie’s shot was witnessed by Couple’s Golf regular Barb Wixson, and fellow Sirs Tony Mullins and John Kent. Kudos to Ernie!
Bill Buhl
San Ramon Golf Club 2/18/2016 14 196 yards Yes 3 Wood The Local Golf Group proudly reports that one of their worthy stalwarts, Sir Bill Buhl scored a Hole-in-one at San Ramon Golf Club on February 18th, on the 14th hole. This quotes the report of Sir Phil Reed, one of the witnesses: "On the 14th hole, the pin was just behind the sand trap which extends across most of the front right side of the green (behind the trap=sucker pin). Bill hit a beautiful 3 wood into the wind at the left center of the green which faded around the trap and bounced toward the hole which was hidden from our view by the upper lip of the trap. The rest of us came up short of the trap and had to chip over it. Bill didn't see his ball anywhere on the green, looked in the hole and there it was! His second career hole-in-one and he generously bought us all lunch.” This feat was attested to by John Yeates, Joe Cardinale and Phil Reed.
