Cribbage
For the past several months attendance for cribbage has been very low (3 to 6 players) and with Summer here and folks enjoying outdoor activities, I don’t feel attendance will improve until the weather changes. For this reason, I have informed the San Ramon Senior Center that we are putting cribbage on hold until the Fall. What this means is that they will no longer be setting up a separate room for us to play in. However, for those of you who would like to continue playing on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month you can do so on a drop in basis in the unreserved area where card tables and chairs are set-up. There is not a fee for playing in this area.
I will continue sending out reminder e-mails for cribbage play days. Those wishing to play can meet at the “drop in” area at SRSC.
Best,
Joe Santone
This is a COED activity so wives and partners are all welcome to play. For those not familiar with the game, don’t worry we will teach you and here is a basic tutorial to get you started: https://www.instructables.com/How-to-Play-Cribbage/
We have a reserved room to gather. Bring in snacks, drinks, lunch whatever we would like. There is a nominal charge for the room of $4 per person for San Ramon residents and $5 for non-residents.
New to the game? New players are encouraged to come and learn the game. We will have an experienced player sit with you for a couple of games as you learn.
