SAN RAMON VALLEY

Cribbage

As the weather changes and it gets colder outside, you may be looking for an indoor activity that you can enjoy. If so, come out to the San Ramon Senior Center on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month between 1:00 and 4:00PM to play cribbage and other card games.

This is a COED activity so wives and partners are all welcome to play. For those not familiar with the game, don’t worry we will teach you and here is a basic tutorial to get you started: https://www.instructables.com/How-to-Play-Cribbage/

John Noll recently introduced some of us to a new card game called golf. Sound interesting? It’s fun and John would be happy to teach you how to play.

The San Ramon Senior Center has now become our permanent location for card playing. The center sets up a nice well lit, temperature-controlled room for our play that food and drinks can be brought into. The Senior Center does charge a nominal fee of $4 for residence and $5 for non-residence for the use of their facilities which can be paid at the welcome desk when you arrive to play.

We play on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month. Next month we will be playing on November14th and 28th.

If you enjoy playing cards, come on out and join the group playing cribbage and other card games. If you have any questions or would like to be put on the cribbage and cards e-mail list, please contact me at joe.santone@comcast.net.
Are you interested in learning about and/or playing a card game that was invented in the early 1700’s, was brought to the New World by English colonists, was played extensively by submariners during WWII, and remains very popular with card playing enthusiasts to this day?

Our group meets from 1-4 pm at the San Ramon Senior Center on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month.
We have a reserved room to gather. Bring in snacks, drinks, lunch whatever we would like. There is a nominal charge for the room of $4 per person for San Ramon residents and $5 for non-residents.

New to the game? New players are encouraged to come and learn the game. We will have an experienced player sit with you for a couple of  games as you learn.
